Well the rules are simple on this one guys. You submit a video where you answer the question:

"What would you do with the ability to change the Caller ID number that shows up when you make a call?"

It's that easy.

All you have to do is either get someone to hold the camera on you or if you have no friends, a tripod will do. Keep in mind that winning entries will be featured in a national television campaign so let's keep it PG-13 and below. Also, you will need to start your answer with "If I could change the Caller ID number that showed up when I make a call, I would....."

...and end with... "That is how I would use Itellas."

That's it. Pretty simple huh? You don't have to travel. You don't have to stand in front of a bunch of hecklers. You don't have to audition. You just have to be friggin' hilarious. The more animated the character the better.

And remember, not only do you win $1500, your name and your video will appear in the commercial so everyone will know who the funny person in the video is. Now that can get you famous quickly!

We would also like to add that this is an ongoing contest and there will definitely be more than a few winners. We plan on running our TV campaign for at least three years so keep sending in those submissions. You never know when we will pick our next winner. Our go is for every commercial we do to go viral.

TECHNICAL CRAP
Ok, now the more technical stuff. The videos will need to be in a standard format. We will accept .mpeg, .avi, and .mov files only. We are pretty big geeks here at Itellas and we do not know of any camera or software that will not export or save a video in one of these formats, however, if you are the one person that has a certain camera (probably made by Microsoft) that will not save in any other format, contact us and we will try and figure out a way to accept your video. The commercials will sometimes by 15 second spots and sometimes 30 second spots. Try to adhere to these time limits or we will have to edit your great masterpiece to get it to fit within a 15 or 30 second commercial and we really don't want to hear any whining about artistic integrity and all that crap. If your commercial is like a minute long but hilarious beyond our wildest dreams, we will break down your video into separate Part I and Part II and run the continuation of your ROTF laughing submission. Honestly, we could only hope that a submission is so witty that we have to do this as that would mean we got a GREAT submission. If this turns out to be you, get ready for fame because we plan on running these commercials ALOT!!!

YOU TUBE
We will also take video submissions on our YouTube page but listen carefully, YouTube severely compresses the videos that are submitted and are very low-resolution. If you submit your video on our YouTube page, be sure to keep a copy of your original high-res version of the video so in the event that you win a spot in one of our commercials, we can get that video from you to use. Otherwise, you will have to re-shoot the whole thing and send it to us again. Don't be that guy (or girl!).
